The Pocket Essentials Guide to Vampire Films
We’ve already reviewed another Pocket Essential guide, the essential on horror films. Like this guide, that one was also written by Colin Odell and Michelle Le Blanc.
Whereas we had some reserves for their Pocket Essential Guide to Horror Films, we’re more pleased with their 96-page-long epic on vampire films.

Killer Crocodile
Inspired by movies like Jaws an Italian postman named Fabrizio de Angelis changed his name to Larry Ludman. R.I.P. Rémy Belvaux
Rémy Belvaux died Monday night near Paris (where he was living). Belvaux got instant fame for directing the Belgian cult movie C’est arrivé près de chez vous (Man Bites Dog). In later years Belvaux worked mainly as a director of commercials. He died suddenly at the age of 39.
